As a team who have worked in clinical trials for decades, we know that AI can’t replace human expertise. What it can do is eliminate a significant amount of manual and repetitive work — so that biostatisticians and statistical programmers can focus their time on high-value and strategic activities.

Sandy Ferber Brine

Founder and CEO

Sandy Ferber is the Founder and CEO of idaptiq, bringing to life her vision of using AI to transform clinical trial biostatistics. As a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive and industry biostatistician with 25 years of experience, she has deep understanding of the inherent challenges our industry faces, and she is driven to discover new approaches to make these critical deliverables more efficient, faster, and higher quality.

Prior to forming idaptiq, Sandy founded and led Array Biostatistics as its CEO, growing the company over an eight-year period leading to the successful acquisition of the company by Allucent. Following the acquisition, she served as the President of Biometrics at Allucent.

Sandy holds a master’s degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan.

Nate Fox

Co-founder and CTO

Nate Fox is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at idaptiq where he leads all product development, technical operations, and engineering.

Prior to joining idaptiq, he was the Co-founder and CTO of Ribbon Health, a provider data platform used by the largest US health insurers and healthcare enterprises, which he built and scaled through to its successful acquisition by H1. Following the acquisition, he continued on as a senior executive at H1. Nate previously worked at a number of additional software companies including Microsoft and Unified. He has a passion for applying frontier AI to challenging data problems within healthcare to help patients.

Nate holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Adam Key

Executive Director, Biostatistics and Statistical Programming

Adam Key is the head of the Biostatistics and Statistical Programming department at idaptiq, where he leads the team of subject matter experts who translate statistics expertise into automation logic at the heart of the idaptiq platform.

Prior to joining idaptiq, Adam gained 19 years of experience in the CRO space, leading global programming organizations and supporting clinical development and regulatory submissions across many therapeutic areas, with a robust focus on Oncology. He has extensive experience delivering CDISC-compliant SDTM and ADaM submission packages for regulatory authorities including the FDA, EMA, and PMDA.

Adam holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Teri Karcher

Advisor

Teri Karcher is an Advisor at idaptiq, bringing more than 30 years of life sciences experience to her executive strategy role and drawing on a proven track record in operational, strategic, and commercial leadership positions at other organizations throughout her career.

Prior to joining idaptiq, she held multiple leadership roles at several CROs, most recently serving as President, Global Project Leadership & Launch Excellence at Parexel. Before joining the CRO industry, Teri was employed as a clinical psychologist providing patient care and conducting clinical research at academic medical centers.

Teri holds a doctorate degree in health clinical psychology from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University. She also completed a master’s degree in clinical psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marquette University.

Eric Roza

Key Advisor

Eric Roza is a Key Advisor at idaptiq, where he collaborates with the leadership team on business and product strategy, leveraging his extensive experience as a founder and technology executive.

Eric is an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor who has helped build dozens of companies in technology and health & wellness. He led Datalogix from inception and built it into the leading data & analytics business in digital media, and subsequently led the buyout and turnaround of CrossFit, the world’s largest fitness brand.

Eric holds a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
